- Established in May 1950 as Miyazaki Higher Accounting College. The educational corporation Nissho Gakuen was founded in 1953, and the name was changed to Nissho Gakuen High School in April 1987. - The boys' kendo club won their first championship at the 35th All Japan High School Kendo Selected Tournament in March 2026. They placed 3rd in the team event at the All Japan High School Championships in August 2025, 3rd nationwide at the Gyokuryu-ki High School Kendo Tournament in July 2025, and were team runners-up at the 40th Kyushu High School Selected Kendo Tournament in February 2026. In the Miyazaki Prefectural Tournament in June 2026, they won the team championship for the 10th time and for the 3rd consecutive year.

- The predecessor Fukuoka Meigo Gakujuku was established in November 1945, and Higashi Fukuoka High School opened on April 10, 1955. In April 1999, Higashi Fukuoka Jikyo-kan Junior High School was opened, becoming a junior and senior high school.

- Kendo Club
- According to Let's Kendo, they finished second in the men's team at this spring's All-Japan High School Kendo Selection Tournament. They qualified for Inter-High by winning the fierce Fukuoka prefectural qualifying tournament. 橋本大治 (3rd year, 3rd dan), the Taisho, is one of the players to watch in the tournament. They finished second at the Gyokuryuki High School Kendo Tournament in 1971 and third in 1984. As for the school, the rugby club has won the national tournament seven times, and the soccer club has achieved a triple crown.
