- In 1980, it was announced that a high school would be established in the central region of 山口 Prefecture, and in 1983, the location was decided to be Kurokawa in 山口 City. It opened in 1986.

- In April 1964 (Showa 39), the Imari Gakuen Educational Corporation established Imari Girls' High School. In 1968, it was renamed "Imari Gakuen High School" and became coeducational. A Shipbuilding Department was established in 1974, and an Automobile Maintenance Department was established in 1985. In 1995, the school name was changed to "Keitoku High School," and a correspondence (credit-based) course was established in 2017.
