- Kendo Club
- The team’s goal is “Victory with unwavering spirit and technique!” aiming for national dominance!! According to the school kendo club page, they have qualified for the All Japan High School Kendo Tournament more than 35 times for the boys and 6 times for the girls, achieving 3rd place in both the boys’ and girls’ team events at Inter-High, as well as one 2nd place and three 3rd place finishes in the individual competition. They have also produced 6 graduates who have passed the 8th dan kendo examination. As of 2021, the club has 25 male and 12 female members. Practice takes place in the Kendo Dojo (2nd floor of the Second Gymnasium) on weekdays after school until 7:30 PM, and on weekends and holidays from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

- Established in 1919 as a branch school of 佐賀 Prefectural 佐賀 Middle School, it became independent the following year in 1920. Due to the educational system reforms of 1948, it became the current new-system high school.

- Won the men's division at the 1995 Gyokuryu-ki High School Kendo Tournament and placed 3rd in 2007. Placed 3rd in the men's team event at the 1993 Inter-High. In this tournament, they will compete as the 佐賀 prefecture representative in all four categories: men's team, women's team, men's individual, and women's individual. Let's Kendo reports that they have a player who has appeared in both the spring and summer tournaments and placed 3rd in the individual event at the Kyushu tournament. The men's individual is 最所溜偉(さいしょ るい) and the women's individual is 片地枇愛.
